March 29th, 2010

YTB is a business that lets you know just that, it’s a business that you will have to work and work hard. They are not afraid to let you know that. But they are also willing to teach you and be your mentor, to help you reach your goals, no matter what they are. They want to work with those that are aware of the kind of commitment and investment it takes to make a business become successful.

They are not looking for those that are looking for the “get rich quick” mentality. They want to build a team of hard working business owners. They are willing to give you what it takes to help you succeed, but only if you are willing to commit to more than just a few months of effort. They want you to know that it will take a few months before you see something from your investment.

YTB is an Internet-based travel booking service for travel agencies and those that work from their home as independent representatives in the US. This is not a service that is in competition with the “professional” travel agents. This is for those who just want to go on the Internet to choose make their travel plans.

There is an extensive amount of training that needs to be done in order to be ready to run this business. You will earn commission on the travels of your family and friends as well as your own. You will not only be rewarded in your travel sales, but when you offer people the sales opportunity to have their own business and become trained in their own travel business.

YTB has a couple of ways to do business. One is to Refer Travel Agent or “RTA” and the other is Independent Marketing Representatives or “REP”. The Travel Agent opportunity has an initial fee of $500 and then you are required to pay a monthly license fee of $49.95. After that, you may choose one of the other programs.

What is the YTB Independent Marketing Rep do? Someone that has signed an Independent Marketing Rep agreement with YTB.com is called a REP. You may sell online Travel Agencies; enroll RTA’s and sponsor other Reps. You will commission on personal online Travel Agency sales. You cannot receive travel credentials and cannot sell travel.

What is a YTB Travel Network Referring Travel Agent? A RTA is someone who has purchased an online Travel Agency in an agreement with UTB Travel Network of Illinois. You pay the $49.95 monthly license fee for your own website. RTA’s refer people to their website (which is their online Travel Agency) to book travel and earn commissions.

From that point is where you will build your Team of REPS. You will have your first complete team when you personally sponsor 3 or more Reps and have 6 active RTAs enrolled that are paying their monthly fee of $49.95. Once this team is complete, you are then qualified to start your PowerTeam. You keep building from there and make your commissions. It can be a great and successful business. It does take some money to get it started and a great commitment as you would with any business venture.

This is why this company is looking for responsible people who are not looking for a get rich quick program. This will take some time to build. While a few do make money, the majority are either off to the next flavor of the week or back to focus on their J.O.B.

Travel Purse – Choosing the Right Travel Purse for Your Needs

March 8th, 2010

To ensure a comfortable journey, you will want to invest in a good travel purse. This is a kind of bag where you put everything that you will need for your trip. It can be a small transparent purse that contains your toiletries and can be placed inside your luggage or as big as an actual carry-all where you can put in practically everything. Travel bags these days come in a wide array of designs and forms. If you’re shopping for a good purse, here are a couple of things that you need to consider.

Pockets and compartments

A good travel purse will come with a lot of pockets and compartments where you can place small valuables like jewelry or loose change. Instead of having to fish deep into your bag each time that you need your keys, just go for a purse that has a designated compartment where you can easily access your things each time you need them.

Material and form

Go with a purse that is made of durable material. Leather or nylon would be a good choice. You can also try one that is made of waterproof material for those summer beach travels. Check the zippers and clasps to make sure that they are durable and strong enough for tough handling. It’s also a good idea to choose one that is lightweight so as to keep it from adding unnecessary weight in your luggage or carry-all.

Easy handling

When choosing a travel purse, go with a versatile design – that is, something that is easy to carry. It’s a good idea to select a bag that comes with convertible handles.

All You Need For Travel Insurance

February 6th, 2010

When someone will sell you insurance, the first thing you would surely do is ask about the coverage. The coverage is what you will derive from the insurance firm. This is what the insurance firm will be willing to shoulder, given that anything that happens to you is covered by your insurance policy. Since the future is so uncertain, one thing that will stabilize some of the things in it is insurance. Insurance helps keep you prepped-up for any oncoming expenses. In this manner, your budget will not be severely affected since you will pay lesser when you already have a partner insurance firm paying too.

When you want to be covered under insurance, you need to consider certain factors before you will decide to take this or that kind of policy. Is this travel insurance feature more beneficial to you than it is to the firm? Can you find cheaper travel insurance cost which covers more or less the same spots as what the presently offered insurance does? As in the real market place, there are also many sellers of insurance. To be able to choose one policy over the other, you have to develop the following set of criteria.

First, carefully review the policy of the plan that you are offered with. Through the policy, you will be able to examine the overall benefit that you will get from insurance. If you have some statements in the policy that you do not like, you have to talk to the company itself to reach a compromise as to what they would get and give and what you would get and give too.

Second, look at the history of the insurance firm. The longer it is in the business, the better for an insurance company is not likely to last if it does not provide for its insured clients well. You can also consider researching the clients that the firm has. The greater the number of clients is, the better it is for this means that the firm is well-trusted and many other people are convinced too.

Travel Insurance does not only insure help for your possible expenses when unfortunate things might happen while you are away from home, from losing your baggage, losing your way, to the extreme of travel accidents and injuries.

Travel Insurance also cover weary road travelers like light backpackers who travel relying solely on the things that they have in their backpacks, to the very detailed, organized, and no-nonsense travel of a businessman who only travel because it is called for by his business. You can even customize its policy to suit your usual travels.
