New York City’s tourism web site lists the number of restaurants at 18,696, add in bakeries, donut, and ice cream shops and the total reaches over 21,500 dessert locations. Walking Tours Manhattan (www.walkingtoursmanhattan.com) has added top-rated original, New York owned desserts stops to its visits of icon and landmark destinations in all neighborhoods.
